We welcome schools and education groups to the Museum. There are large toilets big enough for disabled access and for changing young children. There is also space to leave buggies/prams.
We are open from Easter to the last weekend of October and encourage school/educational groups to visit on a Tuesday as the Museum is open and staffed on that day.
There are refreshments available to purchase and children (and adults!) are encouraged to get on the buses, that are open and accessible, and experience the smells, sights and sounds of yesteryear, which all adds to their experience.
